My personal mission is to encourage and inspire those facing adversity, by sharing my story and leading by example. Weightless is an extension of my personal mission.
At my highest weight, I was 360 pounds. I lost weight very publicly on a National TV Show. I obtained my group fitness certification in 2015 (I started out coaching Tabata and Circuit Classes and most recently Trampoline Fitness) I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017. After chemo, double mastectomy and hormone therapy I felt that I needed an out of the box type of fitness that was easier on my joints – so I created Weightless.
I can promise you that no question is off-limits with me. I am aware that many people have uncertainty and fear surrounding gyms and fitness and even scales (I am one of them). I am very transparent about my journey and my mission. I don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable or excluded around fitness. I believe that transparency, inclusion and understanding is what sets Weightless apart. We intend to not only take weight off of your joints, but also your heart and mind!
